Location: Washington, D.C. (3 days in office & 2 days remote each week)

Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt
Salary: $20/hour not to exceed 40 hours/week
Benefits: Health leave to accrue at a rate of 3.33 hours per pay period

Position Summary
The Hub Project is accepting applications for an internship on the abortion campaign to support the campaign’s efforts to fight back against attacks on our reproductive freedoms and rights. The campaign aims to educate the public about who is responsible for those attacks and share real stories to demonstrate the devastating consequences of abortion bans and restrictions. Our campaigns leverage a mix of grassroots organizing, research, and paid media tactics to advance the goals of The Hub Project and its allies. We are a fast-moving organization that is always ready to jump into the next fight, so the right person for the internship is not afraid of taking on new opportunities to move people to action and quickly responding to an ever-changing news cycle.
Job Duties
As an abortion campaign intern, you will,
- Assist in identifying and tracking federal and state level attacks on abortion access
- Support in gathering research and drafting materials for internal and external team needs
- Provide logistical support on large-scale events throughout the planning and execution of events
- Maintain existing internal organization materials for our storyteller network
- Perform other duties as assigned

- You have professional or educational experience researching and tracking legislation on a specific topic
- You have experience working on progressive issue campaigns or at advocacy organizations
